Little Mason really enjoyed his naming ceremony in the family’s garden. His mum Rebecca and dad Tony welcomed him into the world and in to their family. When Mason was born Rebecca and Tony already had two big boisterous fur babies Hector and Nala, luckily the dogs are very fond of him and treat him like one of their pups.
This is a picture of him putting his handprint on a certificate –his five guide parents also put their handprints on the page around it. This is a lovely keepsake for Mason (or probably his parents) to keep for the rest of his life to remember the pledges the guide parents made to him on his special day.
The parents make a fun pledge in a naming ceremony too! And everyone there can share in the joy of naming the child and welcoming them into the world. It’s simply joyous.
