I love my job!
For sixteen years I have I been able to meet so many lovely people and have helped them tell their stories and have original, fun, meaningful and beautiful humanist ceremonies that reflect them, their personalities and lives.

I have two lovely sons – one who is grown up and has severe special needs – he is so happy and sociable. And one who is a teen – he is a brilliant companion and loves a good chat (he is brilliant at animating and game building!).

I live in the West End of Glasgow! I love living in such a vibrant area. It’s the best of both worlds nice bit of the city and not far from the mountains.

I also love gardening, I’ve been involved in community garden and I’m building a new garden just now and filling it with flowers and vegetables. .

I used to be a magazine editor and have edited lots of different titles.

I have been a humanist celebrant since 2009 and have spent most of my humanist celebrant career in Scotland and have conducted over a thousand legal humanist weddings. I was also down in London for a few years and met some lovely wedding suppliers down there!

I am also a public speaking coach, and a tech geek and love making videos (see my insta page)!

For any of you who have written about yourself on your own website – you will know how cringy it feels. So for you to have an idea of what I’m like – I asked my close friends and family to give me some words that describe me and this is the selection they all came up with: Positive, Friendly, Energetic, Dynamic, Enthusiastic, Helpful, Loving, Conscientious, Trustworthy, Loyal, Feisty, Caring, Reliable, Human, Ambitious and Generous. (Glad they are all positive!!).
